ICT Senior Specialist

Purpose of the role
We are looking for a skilled professional to join our ICT team, combining advanced technical expertise with strong management and coordination abilities. The selected candidate will be responsible for both operational and project-based IT activities, as well as for overseeing and managing the internal team and external vendors. The role aims to ensure technological advancement and the continuity of the company’s IT services.
Main responsibilities and activities
- IT Infrastructure Management: Administration, monitoring, and optimization of systems, networks, servers, storage, cloud environments, and virtualization platforms.
- Cybersecurity: Defining, implementing, and updating cybersecurity policies in compliance with current regulations (e.g., GDPR, NIS2), monitoring vulnerabilities and threat management, and handling backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- IT Projects: Planning, implementation, and coordination of infrastructure, digital transformation, cloud migration projects, and integration of core platforms such as ERP, CRM, APS, MES, BI, and others.
- IT Budget Management: Defining IT budgets, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and selecting and managing suppliers of hardware, software, and IT services.
- ICT Team Coordination: Leading team members and developing organizational processes within the ICT area.
Technical requirements and skills
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related fields
- Proven experience (5–7 years) in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and cloud environments
- Basic knowledge of Linux and AS400 systems
- Strong experience with virtualization technologies and backup software (e.g., VMware, Veeam)
- Hands-on experience in networking (switches, firewalls, VPNs)
- Good command of the English language
